Messaging limits define the maximum number of business-initiated conversations your business phone number can start within a 24-hour period. These conversations include sending marketing, utility, or service templates.
At the start, each business phone number is limited to 250 business-initiated conversations per day. However, this limit can be gradually increased based on business performance and message quality.
The available messaging limits are:
- 1,000 conversations/day
- 10,000 conversations/day
- 100,000 conversations/day
- Unlimited conversations/day
To increase your messaging limit, If your business-initiated conversations in the last 7 days reach 50% or more of your current limit or 80% open rate over a rolling 7-day period, Meta may automatically increase your messaging tier.
It is recommended :
- To have the BOB Notifications switched on. Notifications like Order Confirmation, COD Confirmation, Order Fulfillments, have a high health rating. Since customers themselves have placed the orders, they will not mark these notifications as SPAM. This sends a signal to Meta that it is a valid business with a growing customer base.
- Send campaigns to your existing customers. As the brand keeps sending campaigns to unique numbers, Meta will automatically increase the limit to the next level.
