The process of creating a flow remains the same across all the types except for the trigger points.
A trigger point refers to the point that is going to start/ trigger the journey.
For instance, “Shop Now” is the trigger point for the Shopping Journey.
- General Flow - In a general flow, the trigger point or the event that starts the journey for the customer is the word or sentence that the customer types. These are called the trigger phrases. For instance the trigger phrase for a shopping journey on the bot is the phrase “ SHOP NOW”. After a customer types shop now or clicks on the button of shop now, the journey that is already created is going to happen on the Customer’s WhatsApp.
- Campaign Flow - For Campaigns, the template that you are going to send is going to be the trigger point. The template can have quick reply buttons and the journey can be crafted on the basis of the button clicks of the customer. After the flow is created here with campaign as the type, while selecting how the replies should be handled, in the first step of the campaign, choose handle by flow.
In the second step you will get a prompt to choose from the flows that are created with campaign as the type
- Notification Flow - In case you have enabled some notifications like order confirmation or feedback with templates that have quick reply buttons, the flow can be set up with the trigger of the particular template. After the flow is created here, while setting up the notification of
- Order Confirmation (Prepaid and COD)
- Order Fulfilment
- Feedback Notification
You will get an option to choose how you want the message to be handled.
Choose handle by flow and there will be a prompt to choose from the flows that are created with notification as the type.
- Meta Ad Flow - Meta Ad flow is created to link the “Click to WhatsApp” ad that has been created on your Meta Ads manager, with the WhatsApp number of your brand. After the flow is created here, you will have to choose the flow in the user acquisition panel of the dashboard to make sure that the customers who click on the CTWA ad go through the journey that has been created on the dashboard thus leveraging on the free 72 hour session.
