Overview
We are excited to announce the launch of a new feature that enhances flow responses by capturing media uploads on FlowBuilder. Now, when customers share images or videos and other documents as part of their flow responses, the media URLs will automatically be added to the corresponding Google Sheet, and also the downloadable report of the flow streamlining the collection and management of media data.
Problem Statement
Brands previously lacked an efficient way to collect and organize media shared by customers in response to flow questions. Retailers or customers could share important visual content (like images of defective products) but there was no seamless system in place to capture and centralize these media links inside the flow responses. This often resulted in a manual process that was time-consuming and error-prone, making it difficult for brands to efficiently track and respond to such submissions.
Key Enhancements
- Automatic Media URL Capture:
- The system now automatically captures and adds media URLs (images or videos) and also documents files such as (docx and PDFs) to the Google Sheet whenever customers upload media in their flow responses.
- Seamless Flow Integration:
- Media shared by customers as part of their flow answers will now appear alongside other response data, ensuring all responses, including media, are stored in one place.
- Enhanced Data Management:
- All media URLs can now be easily accessed and downloaded for further review, facilitating faster decision-making for brands when reviewing visual content submitted by their customers.
- Case Study – Pebble:
- Pebble, a leading brand, uses this feature to allow their retailers to submit reports on defective products. Retailers upload images and videos of defective items, which are automatically added to a Google Sheet, helping Pebble quickly address and resolve issues.
Benefits
- Efficiency: This feature eliminates the need for manual tracking of media uploads, saving time and reducing the possibility of human error.
- Faster Decision-Making: Brands can now quickly view media submissions directly from Google Sheets, streamlining review processes for requests that require visual confirmation.
- Consistency: All media files related to flow responses are stored in one location, ensuring no data is lost and providing a comprehensive view of customer submissions.
