This update empowers brands to send product or product variant-specific images directly through the bot dashboard, enhancing customer engagement for Product Abandonment.
Problem Statement
Previously, the lack of personalized messaging options limited brands’ ability to connect with customers effectively. Messages that do not include product-specific images can feel generic and uninviting, which may result in lower conversion rates.
By not leveraging dynamic images that reflect the specific products or variants customers showed interest in, brands miss opportunities to re-engage those customers and encourage them to complete their purchases. This enhancement aims to create a more compelling and visually appealing experience, driving conversions and fostering stronger customer relationships.
Key Enhancements
- Dynamic Image Selection for Smart Automation:
- Brands can now configure Smart Automation messages to include product or product variant-specific images. This allows for a more personalized experience, especially during abandoned cart scenarios.
- Image Fetching from Shopify:
- The system fetches images directly from Shopify. If a product variant image URL is not found, it automatically falls back to the product image. If neither is available, brands have to input a default header image to ensure that a visual element is always included in the message (when enabled).
- User-Friendly Configuration:
- The bot dashboard has been updated to make it easy for brands to select whether they want to send Smart Automation messages personalized to the variant image of the abandoned product or the product image itself.
- Mandatory Header Source:
- The header source for default images is now a mandatory field, ensuring that brands always have a backup visual option in their messages.
- Backward Compatibility:
- The Smart Automation UI has been designed to maintain backward compatibility, ensuring that existing automations continue to function seamlessly with the new dynamic image capabilities.
