Problem Statement
Many of our E-Commerce D2C brands using Shopify have expressed a need to easily access and manage the contact details collected through website popups, specifically the phone numbers entered by customers. Additionally, Woo-Commerce brands have found the process of enabling or disabling their website popups cumbersome, as the option was previously located outside the configuration settings. Additionally, the form configurations lacked clarity, with validations sometimes going unnoticed.
Furthermore, the configuration form's design was not as intuitive and visually appealing as it could be, leading to potential confusion and reduced user efficiency. Here’s how it used to look before:
Enhancements
We have made a series of improvements to the Website Popup Configurations Module based on this feedback:
- Download Contacts Feature for Shopify Brands:
- Shopify brands can now easily download a list of all the contacts who entered their phone numbers in the website popup. This allows brands to leverage customer data more effectively for marketing campaigns and customer outreach.
- Decoupled Popup Toggle from Form Configuration:
- The toggle to enable or disable the website popup for Woo-Commerce & Shopify brands is no longer tied to the form configuration. This decoupling allows for more flexible popup management, simplifying the process and improving usability.
- Sectioned Configurations for Popup Pages:
- To improve navigation and usability, we’ve introduced sections within the popup configuration settings. Each section now addresses specific aspects of popup configuration (e.g., popup design, triggers, page configurations), making it easier to find and manage the settings relevant to each page.
- Improved Configuration Form:
- Several design enhancements have been made to the popup configuration form, making it cleaner and more intuitive. These changes aim to streamline the user experience for setting up and customizing website popups.
- Prominent Configuration Validations:
- We’ve made configuration validations more visible and accessible. With clearer alerts and prompts, brands will now easily identify any configuration issues or errors, helping to ensure a smooth setup process and preventing misconfigurations.
