User segmentation

‣

How to download unique customer data?

You can easily download unique customer data in an Excel file with the help of User Segmentation. BusinessOnBot has already created several useful segments on the dashboard, such as “Cart Abandoners” and “Prospective Customers.”

To download the customer data of these segments, or any customer segments that you’ve created yourself, simply click on the ellipsis menu and then select “Download.”

‣

The “All Customers” data does not match with my website

Discrepancies in the “All Customers” data on your website and your Bob dashboard are usually normal because the Bob data does not store duplicate numbers but instead showcases unique customer numbers.

There can also be other reasons, such as the customer’s number not being on WhatsApp.

‣

Are my segments automatically updated?

Segmentations are updated regularly and automatically.

However, we recommend clicking on the refresh icon inside the ellipsis menu right above the selected segment. This will fetch all the latest relevant data and give you an updated number.

‣

What is the “Bulk Shoppers” Segment?

The “Bulk Shoppers” segment includes all customers who have ordered one or more items in their last order. These customers usually buy more items in a single order.

‣

How to edit the conditions of a pre-existing segment?

Existing segments can be edited by clicking on the edit button inside the ellipsis menu.

‣

What are the “And” & “Or” rules?

In User Segmentation, BusinessOnBot allows you to choose between “And” and “Or” rules.

“And” rule: If you’d like to include two rules together and combine them, the “And” condition is what’s best.

“Or” rule: With the “Or” rule, the system will take into consideration any of the multiple rules chosen. These rules don’t have to comply with each other.

‣

What’s the difference between “Include” & “Exclude”?

Include and Exclude are the main conditions that determine the segmentation you’d like to create. All the rules under the include condition will be incorporated whereas the exclude condition will prohibit added rules.

‣

Can I make a segment inside another segment?

At the moment, we can not create a segment inside another one. Segments being incorporated into other segments is not possible.

‣

Can I upload data in an excel sheet and make a segment?

Yes, you can upload data in an Excel sheet to create a segment.

To do that, the dashboard can only capture the data via a campaign. Run a campaign with the new Excel sheet that you’d like to add to the dashboard.

After the campaign is completed, simply head over to User Segmentation, and the new data will be available to choose from.
