How much will I get charged for Notification messages?
Notification charges are based on the conversation type, similar to other messages sent. Pricing differs depending on whether it is a Marketing template or a Utility template.
The prices for marketing and utility templates are outlined in your proposal.
How to change the content for each notification?
To change the content of any notification, you need to update the template.
Please go to WhatsApp Templates under Settings and create a new template with the updated content. Once the template is approved, simply replace the existing template in the desired notification.
For example, to update the Order Confirmation Notification: After your new template is approved, navigate to Notifications > Order Confirmation > Settings. Click on the current template name, enter your new template name, configure any desired variables, and then click "Save" to apply the changes.
Why are my abandoned carts failing to some customers?
Abandoned carts can fail to reach customers for several reasons. These are primarily due to META's guidelines designed to combat spamming. The main reasons are listed below:
- If the user receives an order confirmation message, BOB will not send an abandoned cart notification for the next 24 hours.
- If the user has received an abandoned cart message for one cart, BOB will not send another abandoned cart message for another cart to the same user for the next 24 hours. It also applies to the ping 2 and ping 3 messages. Note: If you need data, BOB can provide it.
- If the user does not have WhatsApp on the phone number specified while purchasing the products, they will not receive the message.
- BOB will not send any messages to a user who has unsubscribed from receiving messages for that specific brand.
- If the user does not reply to the three notification messages that arrived within one hour and if they abandon the cart during that hour, BOB will not send the message.
- There might be an issue with the BSP (360 dialog, Gupshup, or Wati) that prevents the user from receiving the abandoned cart message.
How to add the product image in an Order Confirmation notification?
To include the product image in an Order Confirmation Notification, follow these steps:
- Go to Notifications > Order Confirmation Notification > Settings.
- Enable "Configure dynamic image for enhanced customer interaction".
Please note: If the customer has ordered multiple products, the generic image set up for the notification will be sent.
How do I add tracking to Order Fulfillment?
Integrating tracking into the Order Fulfillment Notification varies for Shopify and WooCommerce clients:
Shopify:
- BusinessOnBot retrieves tracking details from the order notes of Shopify orders. If your Shipping Partner does not add these notes, please contact them to include them. Once added, simply enable the Order Fulfillment Notification.
WooCommerce & Custom Stores:
- The integration process is similar to Shopify, but an additional step is required. Please reach out to BusinessOnBot Support to enable this feature.
What is the recommended content to be added in Order Confirmation Notification?
BusinessOnBot recommends including the following content in the Order Confirmation Notification:
- Order ID: Add this as a variable, and the bot will automatically fetch and display the order ID within the template.
- Product Ordered: Utilize the "Line Items" variable, which the bot will automatically fetch to show the product details.
- Total Order Price: Use the "Amount" variable to automatically fetch and display the total amount of the order in the notification.
Can the BOB bot send the ordered product details in notifications?
The BusinessOnBot can certainly send the ordered product details to the customer.
By using the "Line Items" variable, the bot will automatically fetch and display the relevant product names.
When will the Feedback Notification be sent out?
The Feedback Notification will be sent out based on the trigger you have set up. You can configure this notification to be sent a specific number of days after the Order Confirmation, Order Fulfillment, or Order Delivered notification.
We recommend scheduling it a few days after the order has been delivered. This allows adequate time for the customer to review the product and provide honest feedback.
What is the constant variable used for?
The constant variable is a powerful tool that enhances flexibility in your content. It can be used to display a word or sentence in the template, ensuring your message is conveyed precisely as intended.
Why should I upload images again when I have already done so when creating the template?
The images uploaded during the template creation process are merely samples. These examples help META review and approve your template according to their guidelines.
When you upload images while configuring a notification, this is a one-time action. The images will be directly sent to customers and will remain unchanged. Rest assured, the visuals in your notifications will always be consistent and as intended.

What is the difference between COD in order confirmation and COD confirmation?
COD Order Confirmation: This notification confirms COD orders, informing customers that their order has been confirmed and will be dispatched soon.
COD Confirmation: This notification encourages users to convert their COD order to a prepaid order.
Please note: When setting the COD Confirmation timer to zero, the COD Confirmation notification will be sent instead of the COD Order Confirmation Notification.
Bot is throwing a random reply for the Reorder Notification button
If the bot is not responding accordingly, then the flow assigned to the specific button might not be configured properly. Please go to Reorder Notifications > Scroll to the Phone Icon and check if a flow has been assigned to the button. Assign the correct flow if no flow has been assigned or if a wrong flow has been assigned.
Why is the Feedback Notification being triggered before the order has been delivered?
The Feedback Notification might have a trigger that’s too short. Go to Feedback Notification > Settings > Increase trigger days according to your standard time to deliver a product.
