Overview
System tags are predefined labels within the ticketing system that help categorize and track tickets consistently. Unlike custom tags, these cannot be modified or deleted, ensuring standardization across all tickets.
Searching for System Tags
Admins can quickly locate system tags using the search bar. This feature helps in filtering through large datasets to find specific tags efficiently.
How to Search for System Tags:
- Navigate to Settings > Support Inbox > Ticket Tags > System
- Use the search bar to enter a tag name or related keywords.
- The system will dynamically filter the results, displaying only the matching tags.
Sorting the System Tag List
To improve tag organization, admins can sort system tags based on specific parameters.
Sorting Options:
- Sort by Name → Arranges tags alphabetically in ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A) order.
- Sort by Usage → Displays tags with the most or least associated tickets first.
How to Sort System Tags:
- Navigate to Settings > Support Inbox > Ticket Tags > System
- Click on the sorting dropdown next to the column headers (Name, Usage, etc.).
- Select the preferred sorting order (ascending/descending).
- The list updates based on the selected criteria.
Viewing Tickets Linked to a System Tag
Admins can directly access all tickets associated with a system tag from the Tag Management page, eliminating the need for manual searches in the main ticketing system.
How to View Tickets Associated with a Tag:
- Navigate to Settings > Support Inbox > Ticket Tags > System
- Locate the desired tag from the list.
- Click on the ticket count number displayed next to the tag.
- The system redirects to a filtered ticket list, showing only tickets linked to that tag.
