These tags help brands structure their end-users, making it easier to filter, search, and organize customer data efficiently.

How Are Contact Tags Different from Ticket Tags?

While both are used for categorization, they serve different purposes:

  • Contact Tags → Identify and segment customers based on attributes or interactions.
  • Ticket Tags → Categorize and organize individual tickets (created for every customer conversation).

What Happens If a Tag Is Renamed or Deleted?

  • Renaming a tag → The updated name will automatically reflect on all associated contacts.
  • Deleting a tag → The tag will be removed from all contacts, and its association will be lost.
